Filtered Supply Fans can be either direct or belt driven axial. They are designed to provide high volumes of filtered outside air to buildings such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, and process facilities. Fresh make-up air is supplied to replace the air lost through industrial processes, fume hood exhaust, or general building ventilation. They can be wall or roof mounted and commonly incorporate damper modulated ambient air recirculation for winter heat capture, often eliminating the need for additional heat sources.
